VIDEO RELEASE // Cop Car Karaoke

Last week I collaborated with the Wellington District Police to plan and film a carpool karaoke video to promote their core safety messages over the silly season.

Originally a video was published by the Waikato Police as a challenge to other districts to top their creation. I couldn't resist getting involved to make sure our local police in Wellington had the best video of them all!

THANK YOU to Mayor Justin Lester, Wellington Free Ambulance, Wellington Fire ServiceWellington District Police staff and Tas the dog for being so amazing to work with!

Within 48 hours of publishing the video had over 460,000 views on Facebook with over 8,400 reactions and 12,000 shares. It has since been shared online and on TV by 1NewsStuff.co.nz, NewsHubBBC News & The Breeze.

BTS Bridgeburner Music Video

Over one year ago today I met local musician Duncan Nairn (great lad) at a Brian Jonestown Massacre show at Bodega in Wellington. We talked about the band, our professions and he mentioned that he was in a band called Keller Kinder. He went on to say that their crew were currently working on pre-production of their next music video, Bridgeburner. It sounded right up my alley and I offered to join them as they filmed their music video to take behind the scenes still images.

The shoot day was long, wet but damn worthwhile! I say this because on this particular shoot I met my girlfriend, Jacinta. She worked the shoot as the director of makeup . SCORE!

Which leads me to today, it's one year since filming to the day. I'm stoked to be able to share both the music video and the exclusive behind the scenes images that I captured in Wrights Hill Fortress.

BTS Whisper Music Video

We have just wrapped two days of filming for Nicole Andrews' new video for her track 'Whisper' and we smashed it!

With only about two weeks of prep, we went into the project with an idea, a rough plan and a weather dependant schedule and not much else. Nicole's idea was chopped, changed and completely re-built within the two weeks prior.

We filmed in central Wellington, Newtown and in Otaki on the Kapiti Coast.

At this stage, all I can share are these photos. The video is due to release in mid-September.
